Pond Creek Development

Pond Creek . . . . . the long awaited affordable housing alternative in Goshen, KY. Across from the award winning North Oldham campus and just minutes away from Springhurst, the Summit and downtown Louisville, you find the rural atmosphere in which this part of the country takes pride.

Across from Pond Creek, you will find the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve which has wonderful hiking trails, a nature center, playground, gazebo, and picnic area. The YMCA uses this facility for the area’s baseball program and the Oldham County Youth Soccer Association uses this facility for soccer practice. Creasey Mahan also offers fall and spring children’s nature programs. The Creasey Mahan Public Library is also adjacent to the nature preserve.



When finished, Pond Creek will have 135 beautiful homes, offering all the suburban amenities in a rural setting --- sewers, natural gas, cable, and curbs. Sidewalks will be on all streets (not in the courts). For all the residents’ enjoyment, there are 30 acres of Pond Creek that will be left in its natural state, some of which borders Harmony Landing Lake and Pond Creek. There will be access throughout the subdivision to this area.



Lot sizes range from 1/3 to over 1/2 acre.   As of October 2019, Section 1 has one lot available, Sections 2A & 2B are sold out, and Section 3 has three spec. homes and one lot available.  Section 4 contains 28 available lots and will be available in Spring 2020.  Prices start around $575,000, the median sale price to date is approximately $620,000.  As we have seen with our past developments, many of our homebuyers are families who have fallen in love with this area and schools, want to move up in home size, but want an affordable alternative to the higher-priced homes surrounding Pond Creek.
